The Lopez Farmers Market is having its 12th annual poster contest. The market on Lopez is a popular place to visit as this poster was only sold at the market. The entire community is involved in the poster contest as the poster entries will be displayed at the Lopez Island post office during the month of March for final voting.

Posters need to be 11 inches by 17 inches in full color, with a minimum of 1/2 inch white border on all sides for printing.

The following information must be included on the poster:

– Lopez Island Farmers Market 2018

– May–September

– Saturdays, 10–2 in the village

The winning poster will be used to promote the market, and the winner receives a cash prize. Send to Jules McLeland PO Box 398 Lopez or call 360-319-9957 or 360-468-2123 to coordinate drop-off. Submission may be original art or a print out of a digital file. Must include artist name and contact info (address, phone and email address) on back. The winning artist is asked to attend a poster signing event scheduled at a Saturday market during the 2018 season. Information can be found at library and Lopez Rocks.
