The Lopez Island graduating class of 2017 is pleased to announce that Washington Governor Jay Inslee will be the keynote speaker for this year’s commencement. The graduating class invited Mr. Inslee to speak on their behalf citing his years in education and personal connection to Lopez Island.

Senior Henry Skorny says, “I’m very excited and looking forward to hearing what he as to say in regards to our future.”

This year’s commencement will be held at the school’s gymnasium on Saturday, June 10 at 2 p.m.

The community is invited to share in this event recognizing our seniors’ achievement.
