Over the weekend, two new cases of COVID-19 were announced in San Juan County — one on San Juan and one on Lopez.

This brings the county’s confirmed COVID-19 case count to 28. As of July 26, there have been 15 confirmed cases on San Juan Island; 10 on Orcas; and three on Lopez. No cases have been confirmed on any of the other islands, according to the county’s website.

On July 24, the county announced it would no longer be sending press releases out with each diagnosed case but would do one release on Thursdays addressing all cases announced over the past week.
