On Monday evening, Feb. 15, our dear friend, Lynne Keeley, 68, peacefully passed away at Swedish Hospital after a long struggle with cancer.
Being an only child, Lynne created a large family for herself, and being a social butterfly, she wanted all her friends to be friends. She was wicked smart, charming, talented and very funny. She touched so many lives with her generous and caring spirit. And she threw the best parties.
Lynne was a long-time mainstay in the Seattle radio, television, and advertising communities as a producer and writer. She moved to Lopez Island in 1999, and for the past 10 years, Lynne worked for Lopez Island Hospice and Home Support, a job she absolutely loved.
Due to COVID-19 restrictions, no memorial service is planned. When times get better, we’ll plan a good old-fashioned Irish wake when we will swap stories over drinks, one of Lynne’s favorite things.
