There is a vacancy on the San Juan County Fire Department No. 4 — Lopez Fire & EMS — Board of Commissioners. It is to complete the term for Fire Commissioner Position No. 2 through November 2023 when the position would then be up for election for a 4-year unexpired term. The two remaining Commissioners of SJCFD No. 4 are accepting letters of interest/resumes to serve as a Commissioner. Please mail your letter to SJCFD No. 4, Attention: Commissioners, P.O. Box 1, Lopez Island WA 98261, or drop it off at the Fire District Offices located at 2228 Fisherman Bay Road or emailed it to lopezfire@lopezfire.com. Letters should be received by 4:30 PM, Friday, October 15, 2021.
