Local islanders and visitors are welcome to enjoy the return of Farm Tours on San Juan, Orcas and Lopez Islands this fall, with FREE and paid events that everyone in the family can enjoy! Farm Tours and events are scheduled for September 23-25 on San Juan Island; September 30-October 2 on Orcas Island; and October 7-9 on Lopez Island.

Each island has a full schedule of family-friendly activities that showcase what makes agriculture in the San Juans so unique. Activities include guided tours, pumpkin picking, cider pressing, farm stand shopping, local food and drink tastings, and fun with farm animals. In addition, attendees can learn from workshops, demos, and presentations, and what’s new from local artists and crafters.

Farmers are hard at work this time of year but are opening their doors for specific days and times during these fall weekends – see each island map for full details, available online and in local stores before the event. Start anywhere you like and make an itinerary that works for you. And don’t forget to bring a cooler to store your farm fresh goodies in.

We recommend carpooling to reduce our collective carbon footprint and because parking can be limited. Please respect farm host locations and adhere to directions or instructions – these are farms with active operations and require your attention for your own safety.
