Jennifer Rosquist, MD, recently joined Manny Eusebio, MD, in PeaceHealth Peace Island Medical Center Family Medicine’s monthly rotation of visiting pediatricians.

The pediatric visits are part of an ongoing initiative by PeaceHealth Peace Island to bring specialty care to the San Juan Islands, so community members – in this case, children – don’t have to leave the island to seek specialized, high-level care.

Dr. Rosquist is available for appointments on the second Friday of each month; Dr. Eusebio visits on the fourth Friday of the month. To schedule appointments, call the Family Medicine clinic at 360-467-6540.

The Bellingham-based pediatricians work with each child’s PeaceHealth Peace Island primary care provider to address specific conditions or issues children may be dealing with, such as attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), mental health struggles, asthma or any acute issues. They can also perform well-child exams and circumcisions. Typically, the primary care provider will refer a child to the pediatrician, but parents and guardians may also schedule appointments directly.

Dr. Rosquist joined PeaceHealth in 2006. A University of Washington School of Medicine alumnus, she is board-certified by the American Board of Pediatrics and has been caring for children for over 20 years, with both inpatient and outpatient pediatric experience. In 2015 she was instrumental in bringing the Reach Out and Read early literacy program to Sensitivity: General Business Use. Also a University of Washington alum, Dr. Eusebio joined PeaceHealth in 2019. He has cared for children in the Pacific Northwest for over two decades. Prior to joining PeaceHealth, he practiced at Pacific Medical Centers—Northgate in Seattle. In addition to his clinical practice, he has participated in volunteer projects in South America and the South Pacific.

Other services available from visiting specialists at PeaceHealth Peace Island include cardiology, gynecology, gastroenterology, oncology, orthopedics and general surgery.

Sleep disorder treatment is also available through telehealth.
