The Economic Development Council invites business owners and startup entrepreneurs to a free online EDC Business Lab event titled “Funding Your Business Needs,” held in partnership with the U.S. Small Business Administration, showcasing SBA loan programs to help businesses secure the funding they need, on Wednesday, Oct. 23, from noon-1 p.m.
From $500 to $5 million, the SBA has the resources and technical assistance business owners need for their enterprises, and works to ignite change and spark action so small businesses can confidently start, grow, expand or recover. With programs for small-business counseling, access to capital, contracting with the federal government and more, there are many ways the SBA works to support small businesses.
Business owners can join Neil Subhash from the SBA Seattle District staff for an overview of SBA loan programs, how to find a local SBA lender and technical assistance to help prepare funding requests. Subhash is an outreach and marketing specialist for the Seattle District of the U.S. Small Business Administration, focused on increasing access to SBA programs and resources for current and aspiring small business owners.
Prior to joining the SBA, Subhash worked as a business coach and trainer in the Food Business Resource Center at Business Impact NW. As a small business owner and active member with various local nonprofit organizations, Subhash is passionate about the value small businesses bring to their communities and dedicated to supporting them at every stage.
