Digital Photography: 9 – noon, Lopez School tech room. Learn the basic language of digital photography, what to consider when taking digital photographs and what to do with photos once you’ve taken them. Learn to work with Adobe Photoshop Elements, using PC’s. Course is geared toward beginning digital photographers and those with some experience who want to learn more. Ages: 11 to adult. Lego Robotics Summer Camp: 9 – 12 noon, Lopez School art room. Learn how to design, build and program your own robots. Camp is for boys and girls. Older group will use Lego Mindstorms and younger group will use Lego WeDo robotics sets. Only a few more places available. Call the LIFRC to register, 468-4117. For those entering 4th – 6th grade.

Lopez Tennis Association’s 10th annual tennis Open: The competition includes men’s and women’s doubles, mixed doubles, and open singles. For those wishing to compete, the association has the entry forms on-line at www.lICTA.org, at the courts, and placed at the community bulletin boards.

Children’s Summer Music Camp: Family Resource Center. A week of hands-on, bodies-on, voices-on imaginative musical exploration that includes singing, rhythm games, percussion instruments, and lots of creativity. The camp encourages children to make and understand music through experience. Parents of three year olds should plan on attending the class with their child.
