Watching the Wheels Turn…

We now move into a time of both frantic and calm new beginnings; with mighty Uranus now fully in Aries and its position in relation to stern Saturn and transformative Pluto, we have an opportunity to make a leap in evolution. No one can dictate how it should be or who is doing it right. Those tired old arguments need to fall by the wayside.

This era will see many new situations coming, as well as some old ones. While we cannot ignore what is happening in the world, we can firmly hold our individual candles and light the darkness simply by getting on with our lives in a way that contributes to the peace we wish to create.

Since we are curious creatures and since our nation is one of exploration and innovation, we have formed a mighty shield against the darker forces, more so than in any other developed country. We seem to be sensing the signals and consuming less, and paying more attention to what is consuming us and turning the tables.

We are on this ride whether or not we want to be, and how we deal with it is up to us. While some are spurred to jump to conclusions and fire off opinions, others are instilling courage in their fellow humans and dancing the dance.

Those of us who are older see the changes as more extreme, since, like our grandparents, we stood to lose all we built in a lifetime. The toss of the wrong dice by some very icky people yanked the carpet right out from under everyone. But, like the people we are, we are hanging on and helping each other out. We are shedding the image of what constitutes a “winner” and a “loser.” We are refusing to swallow the illusions and finding our own way, and finding not only each other but ourselves.

We’ll make it, folks. No matter how bad it looks, it’s been worse before and we’ve made it. Hopefully, we will learn and pass on what we learned. Let’s be aware of what is happening but not consumed by it. Let’s continue to practice whatever spiritual or intellectual practice helps us be centered yet willing to become even better than we were yesterday.

Aries (March 21- April 19): The first week of June kicks off in a big way for you…Uranus is now in your sign, and Jupiter is soon to follow; holy cow, you are one busy ram! Up close and personal though, you are seeing a lot of action in your sectors of Friends/Goals and Creative Expression; it seems you are trying to make headway but the opposition is very strong; believe me, this isn’t a time to make waves, so breathe and let it go, let it go. Intensity will stress you out too much.

Taurus (April 20 – May 20): We see an unbelievable push now, and Uranus is touring your sector of Endings. Jupiter will join him next week in that same sector, and for a year you will have the benevolent planet’s help, but don’t take it for granted! Mercury is holding strong in your own sign, helping you think and communicate and stay balanced. Being naturally cautious, you’re not about to engage in any risky behavior which is good. Make peace with your past and maintain your center in the present.

Gemini (May 21- June 20): You are busier than busy, even if it’s only in that swift thinking mind of yours! While we all gear up for summer and its frantic pace, you are plotting out a plan of peace for yourself. This is good, especially since rapid adaptation is the mode of the day. Right now your biggest problem is your nerves; don’t believe everything you think and make a list of what you can and can’t directly control.

Cancer (June 21 – July 22): If you were born early in your sign, you are already feeling the effects of Uranus having blasted into your sector of career. All kinds of unexpected things are happening now, and you are more innovative than usual. Things you didn’t see are now obvious and you are able to stake your claim. As long as you don’t get overly emotional and maintain objectivity you’ll do really well. Next week, Jupiter will move next to Uranus to help you out.

Leo (July 23 – August 22): The generation-shaping planet Uranus has moved into your sector of Expansion/Spirituality, and next week Jupiter will join him there. This brings enormous potential for enlightenment, unexpected occurrences that bolster your faith and incidents of high strangeness that will have you pondering. Your sector of communication will also be affected; you are undertaking a journey of a completely different way of thinking, and it’s exciting!

Virgo (August 23 – September 21): Uranus has finally stopped opposing your sign and has moved into your sector of intimacy/shared Assets. Jupiter will set up shop in the same sector next week. There is so much going on around you and within you, it wouldn’t be at all a surprise to see you go into an all-out rebellion, buck the status quo and reverse your engines. Rearrange some thinking, remember to give attention and gratitude to the good things and people in your life (and within yourself too!).

Libra (September 22 – October 23): Next week, Jupiter joins Uranus in your sector of relationships, and will help to soften the winds of change that explode into your life. Ultimately, things will work out to your best advantage, but you may not be able to see that at first. This month will see several planets change signs so it won’t be the most stable month, but you know the drill. Your biggest challenge will be knowing what you can and can’t control; sometimes you’ll just have to go with the flow and see which way the tide is turning.

Scorpio (October 24- November 22): Your sector of work/health will bring big changes into your regime. You will put more stock in your health on all levels, with attitude! Wherever you’ve been slacking off, you’ll pick up the pace with renewed vigor. Uranus takes no prisoners! Of course, neither do you! This will be a good placement for you, and you will be able to fill your sails for the journey to whatever shore is your goal.

Sagittarius (November 23 – December 20): With life-altering Uranus in your sector of creative expression and your Ruler Jupiter to set up there next week, you are entering a very active time of your life. There are several planets participating in this, and you will be back to the wall with the transformations coming your way. This is a very, very good time to cut out any self-deception or denial and hit the ground running!

Capricorn (December 21 – January 20): The great shifts of this month will certainly gain your attention and see you heading up something to change whatever it is that needs to be changed. On the one hand, things are falling apart, weak points are breaking, and the walls are crumbling. On the other hand, there is a fresh canvas to be painted, a new horizon to be surveyed. This is a good time to make any home repairs, check for any weak point in the structure of your life and shore them up.

Aquarius (January 21 – February 20): Your Ruler Uranus has now entered the action-oriented sign of Aries, and will tour your sector of thinking/communicating for the next nine years. Benevolent Jupiter will join him next week, so this is good for you. Wherever you’ve been stalling out or procrastinating, you will be able to take decisive action and see results. In these incredibly crazy times, remember to pause and give thanks; we are the sum of our parts, but now we all get to be even more than that.

Pisces (February 21 – March 20): Mighty Uranus has fully left your sign and is now in your sector of money. Benevolent Jupiter will join him there next week, bringing you a soft landing! Innovative ways to get things done, the spark of community spirit and a refreshing fire in your belly will serve you well. Don’t spend needlessly or extravagantly; those days are over. Instead, plant little seeds here and there and nurture what you have, including your health!
