If you’re interested in contributing to Lopez Island’s own radio station, then KLOI wants to hear from you.
There has been a recent program development at the station that needs contributions and feedback from islanders.
Now, when there is no scheduled show, a set of random tunes will be streamed from the music library. Those at KLOI are looking for volunteers to donate or lend any favorite CDs to add to the library.
Additionally, in an effort to make sure these streams of music are not completely disjointed or jarringly “random,” the KLOI team has started to put together “music blocks” to structure these radio slots.
So far, the team has put together Folk Blocks, Rock Blocks, R&B/Blues Blocks and World Music Blocks. They are looking for your feedback on the quality of these KLOI slots. The schedule is below, so tune in and speak up.

Thursdays/Saturdays/Sundays, 8 -10 a.m.
