And So We Move On…

Mercury’s direct motion is a relief; for the most part the personal planets are now singing along quite nicely for us. The Big Guys, though, are still at it. The outer planets affect and define generations, they transform our lives over time and permanently. The planets I am referring to are Saturn, Uranus and Jupiter. Uranus is the planet ruling innovative changes and chaos, rebelling and a radical departure from the status quo. Saturn is the disciplinarian that prefers status quo and structure and rules. Jupiter is the benevolent force that brings good fortune to all and sundry. Right now, Jupiter and Uranus are at the same degree and both are opposing Saturn. This really does bring a mixed bag of conditions, and as Uranus gets ready to leave the sign of Pisces and enter Aries later this month, it will deliver a last hurrah, as planets changing signs do.

Paradigm shifts. Other realities. Global community. Call it what you like; we have learned how to dance with it and make up new rules as we go, which apply for only so long before they change yet again.

If we cultivate humility, we are ahead of the game because arrogance is something that, when it gets the stuffings beat out of it, damages one terribly. Better to have humility, which has no expectations or sense of entitlement.

Aries (March 21- April 19): Very interesting stuff going on now…without going into too many details, let’s just say you are spending a lot of time recreating your life and major aspects of it thanks to Jupiter’s help. Your sector of money is incredibly weird now, but with patience and perseverance you will be able to gain ground. You’ll have to tend to details and be methodical; you can do this!

Taurus (April 20 – May 20): Another powerful week for you as Mercury in your sign moves again to hold hands with transformative Pluto (retrograde), giving you a chance to undo whatever went stupid a couple of weeks ago. Your mental capacity is well-honed now and you have perspective. A lot of personal pressure has moved away from you, giving you breathing space.

Gemini (May 21- June 20): Esteem-building Venus ends her tour of your sign this week, and she will move into your sector of finances this weekend. You will then be able to use your guts in a more reliable way (without your mind getting in the way). If you were born around June 16 or later, you have plenty going on now and need to stay on your toes! Remember, there’s always an app for that if things get confusing.

Cancer (June 21 – July 22): This weekend esteem-building Venus moves into your sign, and you will feel her influence boosting your morale and sense of purpose. Your friends come to your aid in a possible relationship scuffle or maybe you and your sweetheart will have a party of some kind or even a wedding! Lots of energy around close relationships now and it’s looking good so keep smiling.

Leo (July 23 – August 22): Mars is still in your sign, propelling you into action with a sense of energy and purpose more than usual. Mercury, now in direct motion, makes a nice aspect with transformative Pluto once again in your sectors of career and health. This indicates forward movement and good news for you on the work front. Your sectors of money/shared assets are still wobbly due to the Saturn/Uranus opposition, but Jupiter is helping you so don’t worry.

Virgo (August 23 – September 21): If you were born late in your sign you are no doubt feeling the pull of Uranus and Jupiter opposing Saturn, straining your relationships and making you question everything. Hang in there and cultivate the ability to know when to let it ride. This opposition has been dogging you for a long time (since ’08), but with Jupiter involved, you will come out on top even if it looks like you didn’t. This weekend, esteem-building Venus glides into your sector of goals/friendships. You will see what a difference that makes!

Libra (September 22 – October 23): Your Ruler Venus moves into your sector of career this weekend, giving you the boost you need for both home and work. Since Pluto is occupying your sector of Home, the influence of Venus will bring you the strength and decisiveness you need to move forward. Mars in your sector of goals/friendships is fueling your reinforcements, so when all else fails, hang out with your nearest and dearest.

Scorpio (October 24- November 22): Powerful Venus moves into your sector of Expansion/Spirituality this weekend. This will be a real boost to your morale and give you the impetus to initiate plans to better yourself any way you want to. At midweek, watch for some action in your sectors of communication and relationships; if something was misinterpreted a couple of weeks ago, now will be the time to put it right. Excellent!

Sagittarius (November 23 – December 20): The Saturn/Uranus/Jupiter opposition is really bugging you if you were born around December 17. Jupiter is your Ruler and it is conjoined with chaotic Uranus, causing a cascade of missed luck in terms of your spirituality or home life. Keep a smile though, and hold onto your money. No risk-taking, Archer. You’ve had to tighten the belt for quite a while and this will continue. Mars is helping you a lot in your sector of creative expression, so you have a chance to shine in terms of doing more with less. Just have fun with it.

Capricorn (December 21 – January 20): Transformative Pluto in your sign gets a signal again from Mercury, but this time Mercury is in direct motion so it will undo whatever weirdness hit you a couple of weeks ago. Excellent! This week will be a good one if you focus on your own world, focus on what you can control or direct, and leave the messes to the mess makers. You do like to be in a position of being in charge, but sometimes even you need to just say “pffft.”

Aquarius (January 21 – February 20): Well, now that we’ve cleared that awful retrograde Mercury, you are able to get out the duct tape and make repairs. Jupiter is at the same degree as your Ruler Uranus in your sector of money, but Saturn is opposing both of them in your sector of shared assets so you are mighty protective of what you have right now, which will ultimately serve you well in the long run. The clamps are still kind of tight for you, so get creative and find ways to stretch out in between feeling like you’re in a vice grip!

Pisces (February 21 – March 20): Jupiter is conjunct Uranus in your sign, and this softens the hard edges for you that Saturn’s opposition brings. You really want your freedom now, and are bucking any attempts to pin you down. Flexibility is your major strength, and this is a good thing. Now that summer is approaching, you’re casting about for a sunbeam to warm your blood and good company to warm your heart. You will find both this week.
