The 32nd annual Lopez Lions Club sponsored 10K and 5K fun runs and 5K walk was once again blessed by high attentance and wonderful weather.  With all proceeds going back to community causes, we are especially proud of all 399 contestants and the 36.5 volunteer helpers who made the event a smashing success once again!

The overall 10K male and female winners were Matthew Reisenauer and Amy Esary (2009 and 2010 winner) with times of 35 minutes, 47 seconds, and 42:53, respectively. The male division winner in the 13 to 19 age catagory was: Keagan Smith (39:11), 20-29 – Matthew Reisenauer, 30 to 39 – Steve Frichel (37:35), 40 to 49 – Kevin McCain (38:03), Henry James (38:57), 60 to 69 Dennis Dahl (52:40), 70 to 79 – Ian lange (58:59).  The Ten kilometer female division winner in the 13 to 19 age division was Sasha Tilles (48:21), 20 to 29 – Anna O’Coyne (47:18), 30 to 39 – Amy Esary, 40 to 49 – Sarah Williams (46:14), 50 to 59 – Mamy Gaylord (1:14:48).

First place honors in the 5K race went to Cary Stidham and Marti Reimer-Reiss with times of 18:39 and 19 minutes, respectively. Age 12 and under division winners:  Nick Stout (22:59), 13 to 19 – Cal Hoffman (20:27), 20 to 29 – Jacob Grace (21:41), 30 to 39 – Cary Stidman, 40 to 49 – Mike Gerdes (20:11), 50 to 59 – Randy Reeves (23:17), 60 to 69 – Brooks Walton (30:09), 70 to 79 – Dallas Wylie (27:34), 80 to 89 – George Fuller (50:50).  Female division winners: 12 and under – Ellie Rowan-Arnett (22:04), 13 to 19 – Hazel Carr (19:11), 20 to 29 – Amanda Wedow (25:48), 30 to 39 – Charity Atchison (23:14), 40 to 49 – Marti Reimer-Reiss, 50 to 59 – Suzanne Strom (23:35), 60 to 69 – Caroline Heino (29:34), 70 to 79 – Dorothy Van Ausdal (30:15).

The 5K walker division male winners include: 12 and under Colby king (49:47), 20 to 29 – Ben Gregoire (37:42), 30 to 39 – Travis Grafe (42:43), 40 to 49 – BC Howk (48:34), 50 to 59 – Bill Gregoire (35:39), 60 to 69 – Bruce Kimber (41:58), and 70 to 79 – Sam Lockwood (38:52).  The female winner in the 12 and under catagory was Taya Dukes (32:38), 13 to 19 – MacKenzie Minehan (39:52), 20 to 29 – Leslie Pohl (40:43), 30 to 39 – Kristine Stidham (43:46), 40 to 49 – Beth Sundquist (30:48), 50 to 59 – Suzanne Berry (39:32), 60 to 69 – Holly Lovejoy (38:47), 70 to 79 – Cynthia Stafford (51:50), and 80 to 89 – Nancy Fay (1:04: 10).
