Lopezians will soon be walking the aisles of a brand new market.
On Sept. 15 representatives from Com-Steel and administrative personnel from Lopez Village Market, a division of Red Apple stores, gathered to formally commemorate the construction process for its new store. A small group of onlookers were on hand to witness the ceremony.
Construction began that same day, and the new market, near LOHO and behind the current grocery store, is scheduled to be up and ready for business by April of 2010.
