The Tour de Lopez starts early on Lopez Island, with Chamber members and volunteers alike lending a hand to help with tasks that range from setting up rest areas for the cyclists, to spray-painting bikes. The painted bicycles are used as colorful markers that herald break points for the tour participants as they navigate the island. The event starts Saturday morning on April 25, as hundreds of bikers leave the ferry to participate in one of the islands’ favorite events.
