Carol Steckler is an excellent candidate for Lopez School Board. She has served our community in a number ways, most recently on the School’s Finance Committee.
Steve Adams has been a part of strengthening the Port of Lopez and fulfilling its mission for the benefit of the citizens of Lopez Island. With your vote he can continue this work on the Port Commission.
I am supporting Steve Adams for Port of Lopez Commissioner. Why? In these negative political times Steve stands out as a positive person whose vision, leadership, integrity, honesty and dedication to the citizens of Lopez Island are an asset.
“I have personally known Steve Adams for more than 15 years. He is honest, conscientious and intelligent and cares about the community. His long record as an EMT, Firefighter and Lopez High School teacher are examples of his dedication to our community.
We would like to recommend Carol Steckler for the Lopez School Board. Carol is a long-time Lopez resident, community member, community builder, activist and friend. Over the 20 -plus years we have known Carol, she has been involved and passionate about the school and the well-being of all children.
Steve Adams is the best choice for port commission position #2. He has a firm grasp of airport operations and understands the economic benefits for Lopez. He understands the need for the port to be able to handle emergency flights and to be able to function in the event of a catastrophic situation.
We have known Steve in a number of different capacities since we moved to Lopez in 2003. Since long before that time, Steve has been serving Lopez in more ways than we can count – as a schoolteacher, a firefighter, a member of the County Planning Commission and most recently, as a Lopez port commissioner.
