We are writing to ask the community to support Del Gunther for re-election to the Lopez Island School Board.

Del is a highly-educated and experienced teacher at all levels from kindergarten to university. Serving as the vice-chair of the school board and as its legislative liaison in Olympia, his concern has always been to provide for students’ needs and welfare, among other things by securing finances from the legislature in order to fully fund the school district.

He is a man of faith and deep integrity who has volunteered his service to the school board and the community since 2012. He provides a much-needed voice of reason and compassion.
