Carol Ellen Dockstader Marble passed peacefully in her home on the evening of March 18 having battled the debilitating lung disease Idiopathic Pulmonary Fibrosis.

We at United Way of San Juan County are especially grateful to Carol as one of our founding members.  Her vision has helped countless islanders over the years and she will truly be missed.

Carol’s faith in God and her commitment to making a difference for people in need have been guiding forces in her life. Her positive spirit and joy for life was an inspiration for those she loved and touched in her community.
