Bloodworks Northwest would like to thank the community for its support of the San Juan Islands Blood Drives.

Friday, Oct. 13 on Lopez Island

· Registered a total of 37 whole blood donors.

· Welcomed seven first-time-donors.

· Collected 30 units of whole blood.

In total, the efforts of Islander community members will benefit as many as 564 patients. On behalf of patients in our community’s hospitals, Bloodworks Northwest wishes to extend its thanks to you.

Each day, 800 people must donate blood to meet the needs of patients in hospitals.

Next Dates:

San Juan Island – Wednesday, Dec. 13.

Orcas Island – Thursday, Dec. 14.

Lopez Island – Friday, Dec. 15.
