Broadway on Fish Bay makes a splash!

BROADWAY ON FISH BAY is a benefit concert of tuneful, upbeat Broadway songs by Rodgers & Hammerstein, Stephen Sondheim, Rodgers & Hart, Cole Porter, Leonard Bernstein, Kander & Ebb, and others. The concert will feature songs from Oklahoma!, Les Miserables, Gypsy, South Pacific, Candide, Rent, Ain’t Misbehavin’, and other popular Broadway musicals.

BROADWAY ON FISH BAY is a benefit concert of tuneful, upbeat Broadway songs by Rodgers & Hammerstein, Stephen Sondheim, Rodgers & Hart, Cole Porter, Leonard Bernstein, Kander & Ebb, and others. The concert will feature songs from Oklahoma!, Les Miserables, Gypsy, South Pacific, Candide, Rent, Ain’t Misbehavin’, and other popular Broadway musicals.

This all-local concert celebrates the wealth of musical talent on Lopez and the fine Lopez tradition of helping out the community’s neighbors in need.

The diverse program, full of heart and humor, will be performed by Stephen Oles (tenor), Marjorie Stensrud (piano), and an ALL-LOPEZ cast of fine local singers and musicians: Gary Alexander, Kevin Dengler, Ginni Keith, Ann Palmer, May Ann Riggs, and Murray Trelease.

Everything to do with this concert has been donated or sponsored, so one hundred percent of the ticket sales and donations will go to the Fisher Family and LCCA. Broadway on Fish Bay runs Thursday and Friday, May 7 and 8 at 7:30 p.m. at the Lopez Center.
