First Month is Finished
As we end January, it’s obvious that this year is already off to a massively changing atmosphere. One thing that is important to consider is that our opinions we hold dear will be challenged in a different way. There are so many levels to reality, it is difficult to find one that is comfortable; but for many, this particular life isn’t about being comfortable. That’s gone. With mighty, expansive Jupiter ablaze in the invigorating sign of Aries, many of us are ready to see the seeds of hope push up through the ground. For all of our foibles, faults and running interference, we are still a great country full of opportunities to grow.
In order for each of us to take full advantage of the movement marking this year, we have to smarten up and discipline ourselves mentally.
Our collective attitude is changing and hopefully our compassion is broadening. So many losses in these past few years and people falling off the success ladder and into the public assistance lines; do we have that smug attitude of “Welcome to my world,” or do we take a different attitude of, “Nothing is permanent.”? No matter which way we swing on that one, we do need to remember that our own beliefs are the tangible inroads to how we do in the world. We have lost our sense of being competitive and we are now sashaying our way to settling for just finishing something.
It comes down to us as individuals, families, neighborhoods and communities…in this dance, we learn new steps and maybe even a different sense of rhythm. Sing. Dance. These are important because in nearly every other culture, singing is part of the daily healing from the day’s onslaughts. Simple solutions that have been passed down through the ages and are still viable now.
Aries (March 21- April 19): Jupiter in your sign is helping break through all obstacles, and at the same time the Great Benefactor is in a tough aspect with transformative Pluto, in your sector of Career/Potential. This means that everything about you is changing to your benefit, and though it may have some painful moments, it is ultimately good for you. Your Ruler Mars in your sector of goals/friendships is fired up to bring you the people who will steward this transition of yours, and they will come from the most unexpected places! Follow the leads.
Taurus (April 20 – May 20): Hard as you may try to keep everything the way it is, it’s not gonna happen. Flexibility is called for here, and a good hobby for you would be to learn juggling. You’re a very tactile sign and you learn through doing. Learning to juggle, just for fun, you’ll learn about focus while multitasking. It’s true, don’t laugh at me! You have a lot of planetary support now with transformative Pluto and swift thinking Mercury in your sector of Expansion/New Horizons, so take advantage of it!
Gemini (May 21- June 20): Venus in your sector of relationships is always a fun thing; it gives you an excuse to put on some makeup or, if you’re a male, try a different colored shirt. Strutting one’s stuff can be a good pastime to gauge reactions/responses. Of course, if you are in a community where everyone says it’s wonderful no matter what it is, you may want to try it out in the wild on a lark. You are restless as heck right now and the yucky weather doesn’t help. If you can, take a little junket to somewhere sunny for a few days so you can remember how it is, and that will give you something to look forward to.
Cancer (June 21 – July 22): Your sectors of relationship and intimacy/shared assets/other people’s money are really active now. You are restless and ready for something to change for the better, but most likely you don’t know if any change will be better. So you withdraw under your rock to see what the tide does. Wise move for now, but you will have to make those first steps at some point and yes, it will be you initiating because Jupiter at the top of your chart says so. This year is already shaping up to be a better year for you than last year was and you no doubt feel that. Grin!
Leo (July 23 – August 22): Fiery Mars in your sector of relationships, along with the Sun, is calling attention to the type of people you attract to yourself. You may often look around and say, “Where did these people come from?!” If you are surrounded by energy parasites, back off because you need to expend your energy wisely now in order to take full advantage of the current transits, especially Jupiter’s tour through your sector of Career/Highest Potential. Don’t let anyone be an anchor if you’re in motion. Save that for the port in the storm.
Virgo (August 23 – September 21): Energetic Mars and the Sun are touring your sector of Health/Work. This can mean two things…either you need to go for a checkup to make sure everything is in order or you need to branch out in an innovative way with your work (meaning the work you love doing beyond making ends meet). You know which is which. Don’t procrastinate and talk yourself out of success. You know how you are when you do that to yourself. It makes you grumpy and you complain a lot and others don’t like that. You are a worker, no two ways about that, but now it’s time for you to work smart.
Libra (September 22 – October 23): Energetic Mars and the Sun are touring your sector of Creative Thinking/Children/Love Affairs. You want to break the mold and go on a different path, and your timing is perfect because Jupiter in your sector of relationships will draw the right influences to help you get started. The 5th House (Creativity) is packed with potential that is within you, waiting to be manifested into the world. You no doubt feel this, and if you hesitate or get indecisive you won’t be a happy camper. You can do the short math and see the potential rather than weighing every little detail.
Scorpio (October 24- November 22): Venus in your sector of money helps your willingness to take a few risks financially, in such a way as to be fun for you. You may be starting a class or an endeavor for teaching others the skills you have mastered. This is very good because the exchange of good information on a grassroots level is always beneficial. Your sector of Home is also very active with energetic Mars and the Sun shaking things up and keeping you dancing a bit. In general, this is a week to move forward and pick up the pace.
Sagittarius (November 23 – December 20): Jupiter. That one planet that is the key to your progress it exuding its mighty influence in your sector of creative thinking. You may not have your eye on a singular target, but the current influences call you to nock the arrow and pull. By doing that, the target will reveal itself but the first necessary step must be taken. No doubt, you felt Jupiter enter Aries last week, and it did it with a bang! As he settles in, you will see things fall into place because of your hard work.
Capricorn (December 21 – January 20): Energetic Mars and the Sun are touring your sector of money, and some unexpected things can happen either way. If you’ve been putting out feelers for work or an opportunity to expand what you already do, you should be seeing results. Jupiter’s move into your sector of Home brings the possibility of changing locations or enhancing what you have through a lucky encounter. Swift thinking Mercury and transformative Pluto are in your own sign, so the way you think is being challenged…maybe it’s time to let go of some opinions that have become beliefs to make room for new information.
Aquarius (January 21 – February 20): Jupiter’s arrival in your sector of communication/short trips has launched you from place to place, and this trend will continue. Don’t get too comfortable! Energetic Mars is in your sign, and while this doesn’t enhance your patience, it does help you act more quickly and it also sharpens your reflexes. What a time it is, and the good thing is you are too busy to brood over things you can’t control. Excellent.
Pisces (February 21 – March 20): Time to wake up, sweet Pisces! Although there is a lot of chaos out there, you need to get the blankets off your head to see the opportunities and lock onto one! Sometimes it’s difficult for you to tell what your own feelings are and what you are soaking up from others, but hey! Energy is energy so look on the side of practicality and not emotions.
