Full Moon, New Month

Now we see the changes in the weather that indicate the slowing down of life and the feeling of preparing to hibernate. The best news of right now is Mercury going direct; this has been a very quirky, annoying and downright dangerous retrograde, but now Mercury awakens in the sign of Virgo, in a lovely aspect with fiery Mars in the sign of Cancer. Earth and water…the soothing combination of abundance that gives us the feeling of having enough for the lean months.

Saturday’s Full Moon occurs in the sign of Aries, the Initiator. New ideas, new starts, fresh insights and action will follow this event as October unfolds. In general, October will be a much better month than September was, so for those of you ready to rip your hair out, hand onto it! Relief is beginning now. Brew some nice tea or your favorite warm beverage, put your feet up for a minute, and feel good about yourself. This is the order now. We need to recover confidence and a feeling of well-being, and it begins inside first then manifests in reality.

Let’s give a big welcome to October and the lovely harvests and turning of leaves that say summer is over and it’s time for a slower pace.

Aries (March 21- April 19): Mercury goes direct this week very well aspected with your Ruler Mars, who is in your sector of Home. Mercury will move things forward in your sector of health and work, and this is a good thing! As we move into October, the pace will pick up and you will feel and be a whole lot more productive. Your Full Moon lifts your spirits on Saturday, so look for October to be a very good month for you!

Taurus (April 20 – May 20): Mercury goes direct this week, and you will be one of those to feel the relief almost instantaneously. Mercury has backed all the way into your sector of creative expression, and you will be able to pick up the pieces or finish the project with no distractions or hiccups. With three planets now transiting that same sector of your solar chart, look for October to be a month of inspiration and resourcefulness. Saturday’s Full Moon livens up your sector of New Beginnings.

Gemini (May 21- June 20): Three planets occupy your sector of Home, and one of them (your Ruler Mercury) goes direct and helps you see things with more clarity. It’s easy for you to get distracted by stuff since you are the consummate ADD sign, but you will swiftly get everything into order now that your Ruler is going in the right direction! With Fiery Mars transiting your sector of money, it looks like you may be earning income from home, or maybe a family member is getting a job. Saturday’s Full Moon ignites your sector of goals and friendships.

Cancer (June 21 – July 22): Fiery Mars in your sign makes you a wee bit touchy, but three planets in your sector of communication calm your nerves quickly. If you feel crowded or you need space, retreat into your shell and just take a time out. You are very sensitive right now, and may be overreacting to something or someone. Don’t take things personally (no, they aren’t all personal!). Mercury going direct this week will bring you a world of relief! Saturday’s Full Moon illuminates your sector of career.

Leo (July 23 – August 22): Saturday’s Full Moon in your sector of travel/expansion ignites the sense of being on a Quest. Since a quest should never be undertaken alone, grab your best friend and venture forth! Mercury goes direct, finally, in your sector of finances so look for a real breakthrough in the near future. Just in time! September hasn’t been the best of months, but you will recoup losses now. Your sector of finances has three planets in it right now, so if your quest is for gold, get digging! It’s there!

Virgo (August 23 – September 21): You have felt pummeled and punched by three planets occupying your sign, one of them being retrograde Mercury in the latter part of September. Thankfully, Mercury goes direct this week, and none too soon! The Full Moon ignites your sector of intimacy/shared assets, and this moon is poised to give you the advantage. Use it well! Mars in your sector of goals and friendships is serving you well now, so move forward and you will see the obstacles removed now.

Libra (September 22 – October 23): Fiery Mars in your sector of career is well aspected with Mercury going direct, so look for gains there. Looks like you may be finishing a long project or starting a new one. After fits and delays and disappointments, things should move smoothly now. This is good because you can’t stand things out of order. Saturdays Full Moon in your sector of relationships brings a chance of romance or a weekend getaway. Take it!

Scorpio (October 24- November 22): Saturday’s Full Moon in your sector of work/health illuminates what needs to be done and by whom. If your plate is already full, try not to take on more. Sagittarius (November 23 – December 20): Mercury goes direct in your sector of career, bolstering the opportunities you’ve been hoping/fighting for that escaped you in September.

You are now able to move forward with that usual confidence you have, and little hesitation, thanks to the Full Moon in your sector of creative expression. Something hidden will be revealed just in time, and you will feel that sense of all being well. A good start to an active month!

Capricorn (December 21 – January 21): Mercury cuts loose and goes direct in your sector of expansion/travel, and if you’ve been planning a trip of some kind only to have the plans fraught with worrisome little stupid things, fear not! Aquarius (January 22 – February 20): Mercury goes direct in your sector of intimacy/things shared, and after some frustrations this month things will finally smooth out. The bases are loaded in your sector of intimacy, though…time to get practical but in a whimsical way that will delight your sweetheart and yourself!

Pisces (February 21 – March 20): Well, it’s about time…Mercury in your sector of relationships finally goes direct this week, smoothing out the pull-your-hair-out stuff that occurred earlier this month. You’ll now have smoother sailing. The Full Moon in your sector of finances brings forth treasure that was previously hidden from you. Go swashbuckling and find it!
