Locked and Loaded

This week the great T-Square between Saturn, Uranus and Pluto will be officially in place. Saturn moves into the air sign Libra at midweek, and this locks the T-Square into place. With so many battles going on in the world and so much political strife and polarization, it is really time to remove the stresses by being at peace within ourselves as much as possible. Of course we can’t ignore what’s going on “out there,” nor can we play ostrich and call it “all good.” Denial is deadly because reality will find us eventually.

So much gloom and doom in the big picture, but what is really happening is unprecedented events that we are alive to witness, giving us the experience and the learning to hand down to new generations. We Boomers have really done a number on the world and there is much to be accounted for. Since we are still very viable, it’s up to us to correct the course and look at the bigger picture, and in order to do this we must surrender our ideals and look at workable solutions in concert with others. No easy task since we are such an individualistic culture. But as long as we look at facts, apply mechanical means and be aware of our interdependence, we should be able to be a real and present driving force for steering the ship in a better direction. Correcting our course is the key.

These times are bursting with opportunity in a way that we haven’t considered before. We dance with the landscape as it shifts; we reach out to help another take the next step up. We remember who and whose we are. We clean our own house before “educating” others. We can do this, and we are doing it. Wow. What a time to be alive!

Aries (March 21- April 19): Mercury, Venus and Mars are in a nice position with each other in your sectors of Creative Expression and Work/Health; this should help you get set as Saturn later moves into your sector of Relationship, locking itself into the big T-Square. Changes and more changes come for us all, and you don’t mind as long as you are the one initiating the changes. Keep your ear to the ground and you’ll know which way to dance.

Taurus (April 20 – May 20): Venus and Mars in your sector of Creative Expression give you the extra ground you need to keep pace with the changes going on around you. This week, Saturn changes signs and moves into your sector of Work/Health and locks itself into the T-Square. This grand configuration will affect the entire planet; it already is. Powerful stuff on the horizon, but personally you may encounter setbacks in your personal path. Plan well and always have Plan B close at hand.

Gemini (May 21- June 20): Stern Saturn changes signs and moves into your sector of Creative Expression, locking itself officially into the bit T-Square we discussed. This will energize you in unusual ways, and you will no doubt intercept the frequencies of sweeping changes on the horizon. Whatever crafting you do as a hobby, especially working with your hands, will ground you and put you in that meditative state that brings new ideas and inspiration. This is good!

Cancer (June 21 – July 22): Saturn the Disciplinarian moves into your sector of Home now, locking itself into the big T-Square we discussed. It now officially begins, and over the next two years you may see yourself defending your home front in some way. The cards will be shown to you soon, though. This isn’t a bad thing, simply a necessary step in your evolutionary process. If you are doing a remodel, be sure to hire trusted people. If you have teenage/young adult children at home, make sure they are on the good side of the law.

Leo (July 23 – August 22): Mercury in your sign bolsters your ability to think and communicate clearly from your most authentic self. This is a good thing; this week stern Saturn locks itself into the big T-Square we discussed, changing signs and moving into your sector of thinking/communicating. This will help you structure yourself better and dodge bullets at work. This T-Square is actually beneficial for you as long as you are willing to move with the changes around you. Don’t get too attached to things the way they are, because they will change.

Virgo (August 23 – September 21): Venus and Mars are in your sign, giving you the confidence you need to move through the big T-Square that is now locked into place with Saturn changing signs and ensconcing itself in your sector of money. You will need to make the necessary changes you’ve been putting off in order to stay afloat. Do what it takes and you’ll be fine. What a ride, huh? Keep a journal and document these times for posterity.

Libra (September 22 – October 23): Saturn moves into your sign this week, locking the big T-Square into place, officially. Your sign is especially affected, with mighty Uranus opposing Saturn (and your Sun) and transformative Pluto doing the mixing and blending in your sector of Home. This is the time you’ll really see what you’re made of, and any illusions you’ve held will be stripped away revealing the true character of not only yourself but your dreams as well. If you’re authentic, no problem. You are the sign of the great generals, so expect others to seek your advice.

Scorpio (October 24- November 22): Saturn changes signs, moving into your sector of Endings and officially locking in the great T-Square we have discussed. You are in a strong position for this since your role in life is transforming others; if you are a counselor, you will see a very different type of clientele passing through the door now and into the future. Prepare to completely revamp your profession as well as the way you handle it. This will take place over time, but it’s good to prepare now.

Sagittarius (November 23 – December 20): Saturn is locking itself into place in the great T-Square we discussed earlier. We’ve already seen the rumblings of changes coming, not all of them bad. You tend to look at life in terms of where your next adventure will be, so choose it carefully. Less people will understand your perpetual optimism, so don’t let that hurt your feelings. Your goals and plans will take on more clarity and structure, and you will have to discipline yourself.

Capricorn (December 21 – January 20): Your Ruler Saturn locks itself into the great T-Square this week as it changes signs and enters your sector of Career. Now that the T-Square is exact, much of the stress will be lifted and the waves of change will be less turbulent for you. Keep on viewing from above and look at the full landscape. You are one of the few who look at the long-term, so your insights are valuable.

Aquarius (January 21 – February 20): Your electric energy will be even more so now; Saturn locks itself into place in the great T-Square we have discussed by moving into your companion air sign Libra this week. It will remain there in your sector of Expansion/Spirituality for the next two years. For the next few months you will see sudden and unexpected changes that will require you to start over again in many ways. It’s a good thing you’re a natural magician; you’ll need that skill!

Pisces (February 21 – March 20): This week, Saturn locks itself into the great T-Square we discussed, changing signs and moving into your sector of shared assets/intimacy. Legality and conflict may be in your life now if you are ending a relationship with either a person or a business. Don’t freeze up! Your strongest point is finding your own level, and the compassion you freely give to others is what you need to give to yourself. These are amazing times to witness; keep yourself in a flexible mode while standing your ground when you need to.
