And Still More for Your Viewing Pleasure!
Well, now! Ahem…how do you spell “intense?” One would think we’d be used to it, but just to be sure, our Heavenly Bodies are firing a shot across the bow at us in the form of yet another Grand Cross in Cardinal Signs (Aries, Cancer, Libra and Capricorn). A Grand Cross is at least one planet in each sign at relatively the same degree. On a chart it looks like a box with a cross through it and since all four of the planets are acting as one expression simultaneously, competition for attention is fierce, hence the feeling of perpetual motion and restlessness and the urge to start something new whether or not anything else is finished. People born with one of these powerhouses in their chart know no rest and everything has to have a sense of purpose to it or it isn’t worth doing, including vacations. The concept of “relaxing” doesn’t exist in the realm of these folks.
The second formation worthy of not is a Cardinal T-Square which is a Grand Cross with one planet missing, forming a triangle with the same restlessness, the stress manifesting at the apex of the triangle. What all this translates into is another spate of intense activity and opinions flying and conclusions jumped to and everyone and everything including the family dog wanting to be listened to right NOW. It’s like ADHD/ADD and any other malady all at once; so we either have a party or a riot or a riotous party going on somewhere. This week won’t see any appreciable progress without enormous struggle and starting things will be like trying to untangle coat hangers.
This week the Full Moon will shine in the sign of Capricorn, one of the Cardinal signs but independent of the Grand Cross and T-Square because of the Moon’s position. We’ll have to look above and beyond to glean any worthwhile information or we’ll just have to wait until the cards fall.
Aries (March 21- April 19): We’re hitting maximum tolerance level now! Yet another Cardinal Grand Cross has formed and the Cardinal T-Square is still there. This means a lot of running, false starts, flying tempers and impulsive judgments. This is what will surround you, and if you’re careful you can see it for what it is and not participate. The Full Moon this week also falls in the Cardinal Sign of Capricorn which is your sector of Career; no matter how much you try to escape reality, it will bite you so hold your tongue and temper and let things cool off.
Taurus (April 20 – May 20): Gah, even ice cream may not help you this week! The energy is flying at an alarming rate, and there really isn’t much for you to hold onto except for benevolent Jupiter in your sign. Another Cardinal Grand Cross and simultaneous Cardinal T-Square lacks focus and everyone wants to be in charge. Experts will come and go and snap judgments will be made without proper facts to back them up. Still, your sturdy temperament can withstand it as long as you keep to your own corner and not get dragged into anyone’s anything.
Gemini (May 21- June 20): A Cardinal Grand Cross (again) and a simultaneous Cardinal T-Square ignite firestorms (real or imagined) all over the place. While you try to burn the candle at both ends to keep up, you’ll wear yourself out. You are mutable but not unbreakable. Rather than try to be everywhere at once, follow Yoda’s wise advice and pay attention to where you are and what you are doing! Even that won’t stave off the effects of this week, but if you are able to manage your time and energy well, you’ll get through it all with nary a snit.
Cancer (June 21 – July 22): Don’t be surprised to find yourself in the middle of a mess this week as emotions fly and you try to figure out what everyone’s so gnarly about (conversely, it could be you who’s gnarly and folks can’t figure out what’s wrong with you)! Yet another Cardinal Grand Cross has formed, along with a simultaneous Cardinal T-Square. Translated into English that means a high level of impulsiveness, compulsiveness and stress all over the place. Be sure to sit back and mull things over before you react.
Leo (July 23 – August 22): Yet another Cardinal Grand Cross coupled with a simultaneous Cardinal T-Square ignites a field of possibilities but not probabilities. Stability if your key to success, and if you are initiating a new project or job, this week is likely to be fraught with false starts. Be sure to research everything as thoroughly as you can before you make any major decisions as others may want you to move faster than you truly feel comfortable with. Financial issues are likely to arise now so be armed with information in order to plan.
Virgo (August 23 – September 21): Wow, what a wild week we’re having! Yet another Cardinal Grand Cross has formed and a simultaneous Cardinal T-Square is already in place, so there is going to be an explosion of new activity and new things starting that may or may not last long. This is a very powerful configuration, and the Full Moon in the Cardinal sign of Capricorn would be a good one to appeal to since it will not be involved in these formations and will contain insights for new inroads. Enjoy the warmer evenings and whatever space you have created for yourself. You’ll want to be in that space a lot this week!
Libra (September 22 – October 23): Yet another Cardinal Grand Cross ignites your rockets and the long-lasting Cardinal T-Square is a sort of double whammy. These two configurations are likely to have you feeling very restricted since stern Saturn in your sign is involved and you could very well be yelling, “No fair!” Impulsive decisions, over-reactions and singular thinking can lead you or others around you to spin out, but hopefully you will be able to find the balance in order to curb any behaviors that may be hurtful. If you can’t, well, that’s life. Nobody’s perfect.
Scorpio (October 24- November 22): The simultaneous Cardinal Grand Cross and Cardinal T-Square kick up the pace even more than before. This will especially affect your sector of Expansion since the Sun and Venus are both are involved and in the same Cardinal sign of Cancer; you are a water sign and so is Cancer, but your expressions are very different. Cancer is a fearful sign while Scorpio natives tend to be fearless and more contemplative. This will certainly work to your advantage.
Sagittarius (November 23 – December 20): Another Cardinal Grand Cross and simultaneous Cardinal T-Square have you completely confused as to which end is up, what is the right thing to do and who you can trust. This is an enormous influx of energy that is largely impulsive and unreliable, so take things with a grain of salt unless you are somehow directly threatened. The Full Moon in your sector of Finances sees something new coming your way financially via a bank loan, grant or other nonpersonal or legal arrangement. This week will be anything but boring, so be sure to use your natural cheer and curb your bluntness so folks don’t take you the wrong way.
Capricorn (December 21 – January 20): A new Cardinal Grand Cross has formed and with it is the lasting Cardinal T-Square, spelling out loads of energy and impulses that may or may not materialize. Many want to start something but few will actually be able to accomplish much due to the here today, gone tomorrow theme of these powerful configurations. The good news is that the Full Moon this week is in your own sign, so you will be able to see beneath the obvious and glean critical information. Enjoy your Full Moon!
Aquarius (January 21 – February 20): You are a Fixed Sign. You like to be right about things and if something is withheld, you’re after it to find out what’s going on. The thing about this week is, you won’t know what’s going on or what hit you! Another Cardinal Grand Cross and simultaneous Cardinal T-Square, each one a knock-you-to-your-knees configuration in its own right. So, lots of stuff will be flying around and where it lands, nobody knows. The Full Moon in your sector of Endings will bring with it information regarding which lines to cut from your personal ship to reduce the drag.
Pisces (February 21 – March 20): This week sees loads of action with another Cardinal Grand Cross along with the lasting Cardinal T-Square has the world kicking up yet again in convulsions of starting something only to have it shot down or halted or otherwise resisted. Sigh. You are such a peace-loving person you can’t really put up with all of the fuss. You start crying because no one listens to you. I’ll tell you what, though…still waters run deep, and your waters are the deepest of them all, so stay still. You’ll be able to clearly see both above and below the surface. The Full Moon in your sector of Friends/Goals will have you howling with your pals.
