On Feb 26. at 11 a.m. in Woodeman Hall, San Juan artist Lavelle Foos will show and play her Native American flutes.

The entertainment is to accompany the senior lunch and so people are encouraged to come, enjoy the music and food. Lunch will be served at noon, the cost is $4 for those over 60, and $6 for anybody younger.

Karin Gandini, board member for the Senior Advisory Committee, was asked to be in charge of events and entertainment. She is eager to attract more people to these lunches and aims to have two entertaining or educational shows a month. In the coming weeks she has plans for a CPR demonstration and a horticultural lecture.

Gandini wants the public to know that these lunches are great value for money and a fun way to enjoy the community.
