Santa and his merry band of photographers and elves will again arrive on Lopez for two Saturdays during the holiday season, meeting the needs of parents and grandparents to avoid the expensive and time-consuming trip to the mainland to secure their annual Christmas Santa photos.
The next session will be held at the Lopez School Library on Dec. 1 from 10 a.m. to noon during the annual Christmas Thrift Shop sale.
Santa isn’t just for kids anymore. Last year there were several adults on Santa’s lap — a Christmas card? A greeting to their kids far away? And, there are those whose pets are just as precious and deserving of a special visit with Santa.
This will mark the third year for Santa photo visits and all proceeds support the ongoing operations of the Lopez Children’s Center. Questions? Call Jane Hobbs at Lopez Children’s Center 468-3896.
