Lane Langford and friends will be onstage to play a variety of music, with musicians whose talent is exceptional.

Langford and friends will be performing “Warmth in the heart of winter” at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 11, at Lopez Center, as a benefit concert for the Lopez Island Family Resource Center and the Lopez Children’s Center. Over the past six years, Lane and friends have been able to donate $12,000 divided between the two organizations.

Tickets are $15 and available at Paper Scissors on the Rock and the Lopez Bookshop.

Langford describes his set list as some of his songs, some of other people’s songs, and a whole span of genres. He said he and his fellow musicians will play songs that range from country to bluegrass to blues, classical and everything in between.

Langford and friends would like to thank all of the musicians over the past five years who have been willing to donate their time and effort and talent to these two true and wonderful organizations here on Lopez. Langford would also like to thank Lopez islanders for supporting these organizations as well.
