After some delays due to global supply chain issues, construction to replace the aging tollbooths at the Anacortes Ferry Terminal will begin on Monday, May 1.
Passengers are encouraged to plan ahead and give themselves extra travel time once construction starts as some tollbooths may be closed. The work to replace the tollbooths that are more than 50 years old is scheduled to be completed this fall. The project will add a dedicated ADA-accessible tollbooth along with canopies to protect customers from inclement weather when completed.
