Llewellyne Arden, a yoga teacher with the Anahata Yoga Circle, has studied yoga for over 12 years and has been teaching yoga consistently since 2003 and offers a gentle holistic approach for yoga. Yoga for young children will help develop better body awareness, self-control, flexibility and coordination. Movement and sensory/motor stimulus will help instill calm, confidence and balance. Lopez Tennis Association’s 10th annual tennis Open: The competition includes men’s and women’s doubles, mixed doubles, and open singles. For those wishing to compete, the association has the entry forms on its website at www.lICTA.org, at the courts, and placed at the community bulletin boards.

Children’s Summer Music Camp: Family Resource Center. Your child will enjoy a week of hands-on, bodies-on, voices-on imaginative musical exploration that includes singing, rhythm games, percussion instruments, and lots of creativity. The camp encourages children to make and understand music through experience. Parents of three year olds should plan on attending the class with their child. Baroque music concert: “Music for a Midsummer’s Eve”, 7:30 p.m. , Grace Church. Includes a wide variety of musical features from European composers. The group, including local musicians Sand Dalton, Celia Rosenberger and friends, will play works from Telleman, Scarlatti, Duphly, and Purcell. This is not a ticketed event, however there is a suggested donation of $15 to help cover expenses. For more information about the concert, contact Dalton at 468-3875.
