The Enchanted Quilters is sponsoring evening meetings for anyone interested in quilting. You do not have to be a member of the The Enchanted Quilters and beginners are encouraged. Bring a quilting project to work on, your knitting, or just come to socialize.

Lopez Island Conservation Corps Native Plant Salvage

10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Upright Head Preserve.

The Lopez Island Conservation Corps in collaboration with the San Juan County Land Bank invites the public to join them in salvaging hemlock and cedar seedlings from the road at Upright Head. Sixth annual Soggy Bottom Golf tournament

11 a.m., The Lopez Island Golf Club.

Entrance fee for the tournament is $25 for golf club members and $35 for non-members. Registration begins at 10 a.m.

5:30 p.m., Lopez Library. Learn how to establish an online presence by using this free online service to create a website or blog. This class is taught by Adrienne Adams. Class will consist of two, two-hour sessions. Use of a laptop is required: a limited number are available to those who do not have one. Students must have basic familiarity with using a Web browser. Pre-registration required. Limited to 10 students. $25 fee. Offered by the Lopez Island Family Resource Center, in collaboration with the Lopez Library. Call LIFRC @ 468-4117 to register.
