It’s flu season, and there are multiple opportunities to get flu shots from local health and medical organizations.

San Juan Healthcare on San Juan Island is running adult and child flu clinics on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, 1:30-4:30 p.m., until Nov. 17. No appointment is necessary. Flu shots cost $30; insurance can be billed.

Flu shots are also available at San Juan’s Inter Island Medical Center. No appointment necessary; wait time is about 10 minutes. Flu shots cost $31; insurance can be billed.

On Dec. 2 the Lopez Island Medical Clinic will run a flu clinic from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Appointments are necessary, call 468-2245. The cost of the shot is $47 or is billable to insurance. There will be shots available for both adults and children.
