Button It Up!

I’m throwing out the Early Warning now: Mercury goes retrograde on the 28th, in unpredictable Aquarius. Mercury in retrograde is up close and personal; it has a way of getting under our skin and making us miserable. Major decisions made during a retrograde Mercury (unless one was born with a retrograde Mercury) come to fruition after about two and a half years. This is no light matter.

Retrograde Mercury needs to be understood, not avoided. It is the time to do research; it is the time where the weak link in the chain will be identified. This retrograde period will take place in the sign of quirky Aquarius, so it’s anyone’s guess. The fact that this retrograde teams up with elusive Neptune leaves no room for errors, since things can go crazy very quickly and tempers can flair due to miscommunication or lost documents or outright lies.

Mercury will remain in retrograde motion until February 19. As usual, there will still be a backlash for a few days even after Mercury goes direct again. Watch the world stage now! My long-term readers know the drill.

Aries (March 21- April 19): Monday’s Full Moon in Leo brings a blast of creativity as well as a firm resolve to keep the resolutions you made for this year. You are good at bucking and ducking the system and finding ways around obstacles, so any in your path will get a good head-butting from you and will clear the area! Make the push to get it done this week!

Taurus (April 20 — May 20): Your Ruler Venus sails into your sector of expanded horizons (education, philosophy, travel, etc.), joining Jupiter, who rules that sector by nature. Wow. You are looking at quite the journey; don’t dig your heels in and bellow! You are more than ready for this, so undertake it with a good attitude and faith! Monday’s Full Moon will be the catalyst to push you out of the house!

Gemini (May 21- June 20): Monday’s Full Moon in your sector of learning/communicating brings light to ways you can change your methods. You’re not high on the patience scale but in order for others to “get it,” you will have to do it on their terms, not yours. In the weeks to come, you will see some changes in your sector of shared assets; it’s good, and will be good for you in the long run. Go the distance!

Cancer (June 21 — July 22): Monday’s Full Moon in your sector of money/resources brings some power to ideas you’ve had; pull them out of mothballs! Venus (Self-worth) joins benevolent Jupiter in your sector of relationships, so it’s very likely that you are set up for quite the union/reunion with your spouse with both of you going in the same direction! Don’t waste a moment brooding.

Leo (July 23 — August 22): Monday’s Full Moon is yours! You should feel the boost in mood and engage in social activities that make you feel good. This is a great time to have a makeover and smile at your reflection in the mirror. Venus and Jupiter snuggle up together in your sector of work/health, and with all those good things going for you, you have a lot to grin about!

Virgo (August 23 — September 21): Monday’s Full Moon in your sector of Regeneration illuminates what your next steps will be in the coming days; with an amazing stroke of good fortune due to Venus and Jupiter holding hands in your sector of creativity, you are well on your way to new endeavors that will bring a lot of fulfillment. You’ve earned this! You artistic Virgo natives should be having a field day!

Libra (September 22 — October 23): Monday’s Full Moon illuminates your sector of friendships, making way for new ties and old ties to be restored or reconnected. Venus and Jupiter hold hands together in your sector of home and hearth, paving the way for major improvements in that area. Time for a party! You are on it these days!

Scorpio (October 24- November 22): Oh, my! Monday’s Full Moon in your sector of work brings different ways for you to be more effective and attain new leadership skills. Venus and Jupiter are set up in your sector of communication, so you should be feeling mighty good about yourself in the weeks to come! Get everything in order this week and don’t leave any loose ends.
