The Lopez Center for Community and the Arts has a new manager. Janet Baltzer is a long-time Lopezian, with a professional history of theatre and culinary arts.

Baltzer was one of approximately 19 other people interviewed for the position. Lexi Taylor of the LCCA said Baltzer “has all the qualities we need, she is smart, and she knows this island. She is tremendously organized.”

Baltzer is married to Scott Stecklet and has two children.
