The Lopez Fire and EMS crew are now seeking volunteer firefighters. Applications are now being accepted for the firefighter recruit class for Fall of 2009. Contact the Lopez Fire Department at 468-2991 or stop by station 41 on Fisherman Bay Road for an application packet and the class schedule. Class begins on Thursday, October 1, and an orientation meeting will be held on September 24 at 6 p.m. at station 41. Come out and support this most important of causes.
