The Lopez Island School Board is accepting applications for a second Director to fulfill an unexpired term for Position 5. This position expires on Nov. 30, 2011.

To be eligible for appointments,applicants must be registered voters residing in the school district. Interested parties should submit a letter of interest to Diana Hancock Chairwoman, c/o Lopez Island School District, 86 School Road, Lopez Island, Washington 98261 no later than March 17. Interviews of qualified candidates will take place at the regularly scheduled school board meeting March 24.
