The Young Adult Library Services Association (YALSA) and www.readergirlz.com have organized Operation Teen Book Drop to celebrate Support Teen Literature Day on April 17, 2008. Teens are invited to share their favorite books by leaving them in collection boxes at either public or school libraries where others can select and read them during the month of April.
The Lopez Public and School Libraries are participating in Teen Book Drop by collecting books for Lopez teens.
To participate, pick up a Teen Book Drop bookplate at the public or school library and paste inside the books you wish to donate. Books can be left in the collection boxes at the public or school library by April 17. Teens can choose a book from the collection boxes during the month of April.
