Upcoming parent meeting at Grace Church features Shahn McGuire

The Lopez Island Family Resource Center and the Prevention Coalition continue to co-sponsor Parent Meetings on the island, with the next meeting scheduled for Saturday, Feb. 11. Shahn McGuire, a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist from San Juan Island, will come to Lopez to discuss the issues of building self-esteem in children and practicing self-care for parents and guardians. The meeting will start 9 a.m. at the Grace Church Fellowship Hall. Coffee, tea, and some morning snacks will be provided. If you need childcare please let the LIFRC know in advance.
