Richard Bradford “Dick” Gardiner passed away Aug. 15 in Tumwater, Washington, his home of eight months. He was born Feb. 3, 1933 to Malcolm Bradford Gardiner and Marguerite Ann (Bock) Gardiner in Nyack, New York. He was a resident of Lopez Island, Washington for more than 40 years.

Remembrances and scattering of ashes will take place Saturday, Sept. 14 at 2 p.m. at the Islander Resort on Lopez Island, and on Saturday, Sept. 28, 2019, 1 p.m. on Ruby Beach, Washington. Memorial donations may be made to a charity of your choice.
