Susan R. Cunningham

Susan R. Cunningham passed away unexpectedly on Oct. 27, 2017. She was born in Boulder, Colorado on Dec. 6, 1959. Her childhood included periods in Palo Alto, California and Seattle before her parents fell in love with Lopez Island and moved the family there when she was 13 years old. A graduate of Lopez High School, Susy studied accounting at Shoreline Community College, but was always drawn back to beautiful Lopez.

She is survived by her father, Gerald Cunningham of Phoenix, Arizona; children: Caleb Cunningham and Chloe Cunningham; and siblings: Laurie Boroughs and Andy Cunningham.

Susy had a bold, adventurous, and restless spirit. May she now find peace and light. Please consider remembrances to Lopez Island Family Resource Center.
