Bartolucci attended Mount Holyoke College in South Hadley, Massachusetts, graduating in 2017 with a major in environmental studies. She then worked as a research assistant in biogeochemistry at Duke University, followed by related studies at the Narragansett Bay National Estuarine Research Reserve. She’s currently pursuing a doctorate in marine biogeochemistry at Boston University, studying how climate change and other human impacts affect the biogeochemistry and ecosystem function of coastal wetlands.
