It has been one success after another for the Lopez Volleyball team. The Lobos made it to the district competition on Nov. 3 at Cresent High School.

Lopez played Shorewood Christian in the first round and won the game 3-0.

The second game was against Mount Rainer Lutheran. The Lobos started off slow and lost the first match, but came back to win the next three and moved on to the championship game.

In the championship game they faced the number one team in state, Christian Faith. It was a hard fought battle but Christian Faith won 3-0 to claim the 2010 1B Tri District Championship.

The next stop for the Lady Lobos was the State Tournament in Yakima Nov. 11 and 12. Results were not available before press time.
